HAMWWA has been continuously organizing multi-dimensional activities/programs in Nepal since 2007 with the continuous fund support received from generous individuals and donors from different corners of the world. The support includes funding for the office assets, project staffs, internal and external experts, trainings and various activities/programs designed under the project. The support has been helpful in developing professional capacity of hundreds of mountain workers. Furthermore, it has also helped many poor, disabled and helpless children to grow with quality education. HAMWWA further strives to expand its services with a broader perspective by providing meaningful support to a larger group of beneficiaries in the days to come.
Nepal has now gone through a very critical situation. The disastrous earth quake has driven every citizen into a deep mental and physical trouble. The nationwide suffering triggered by heavy casualties, damage of property and historical foundations has left us with heavy heart. We are deeply moved by this national tragedy that has claimed lives of thousands of people and millions making homeless. In this critical scenario of national crisis, HAMWWA has planned to fully concentrate on rescue, relief and rehabilitation of the earthquake victims especially of hill and Himalayan districts. HAMWWA has been involving in rescue, relief and rehabilitation work in the different corners of the nation. HAMWWA further plans to reach to large section of victims with relief materials in case of avaibalibity of adequate fund.
